Professor Peter Cornel specializes in “environmental biotechnology, and wastewater treatment technology”. In 2013, he was awarded the Willy Hager Medal, the prize is awarded every three years to scientists who have made an outstanding theoretical and practical contribution to water and wastewater treatment. He is currently a Professor, Dr. -ING of the Technical University of Darmstadt in Germany.
