Abstract: Part of the Regional Experience-II session of the IAS Symposium on Activated Sludge. Professor Liu specializes in “biological processes and advanced environmental biotechnology for wastewater reclamation”. Professor Liu received the National Technology Award in 2003 and the Minister for National Development R&D Merit Award in 2013. He is the Associate Chair (Research) of the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering & Co-Director of Advanced Environmental Biotechnology Centre, Nanyang Environment & Water Research Institute, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Professor Ng specializes in “water quality, treatment science, and development of treatment technologies, and the cyclic MBR applied with granulated biomass”. He received the ASEAN Engineering Award in 1997 and the Outstanding University Researcher Award in 1999. He is the Dean of the College of Engineering, Nanyang Technological University and the Executive Director, Nanyang Environment and Water Research Institute (NEWRI) in Singapore. Duration: 44 min. |
