Notes: | IAS Asia Pacific Workshop on Condensed Matter Physics. Talk no. 28 Title from title slide. Host: Institute for Advanced Study. Sponsor: The Collaborative Research Fund (CRF), The Research Grants Council (RGC). Abstract: The search for the exotic quantum phases (orders) constitutes one of the most important and hot issues in modern condensed matter physics. Here, the speaker present our recent theoretical investigations on the possible quantum phases and the quantum phase transitions realized in the Kane-Mele-Hubbard model, anisotropic Hubbard model and a 1/6 hole-doped Hubbard model on the kagome lattice via the variational cluster approach. Duration: 29 min. |
