He is an expert on the molecular and cellular pathways involved in leukocyte recruitment and adhesion, with more than 500 articles published in top journals including /Nature/, /Science/, /Cell/ etc. Professor Springer received his PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Harvard University in 1976, and has taught at Harvard for 30 years. In recognition of his important contribution to medical science, Professor Springer was elected to membership in the National Academy of Sciences in 1996. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and an Honorary Chair Professor at Fudan University. Duration: 85 min. |
